Transportation of envirocoal™:
Getting envirocoal
to customers is easy and dependable,
because we can arrange and pay for the freight. With dry
bulk carriers looking for work in the Pacific, ships are
available and rates to markets are low. Long term
contracts can be established to protect freight costs.
This means low risk to the buyer.
Use
of envirocoal™: Using envirocoal
is
easy
too. Envirocoal
is used daily around the world, and
millions of tons have been successfully burned by
numerous utilities in the United States, Europe, Asia,
South America and the Pacific Rim. Users concerned with
environmental gas emissions are delighted with envirocoal's
very low NOx and SO2 output.
envirocoal
has
been demonstrated to be clean burning and friendly to
coal pulverizers and fuel piping due to a very low wear
index and easily captured by all types of ash collecting
methods, including electro-static precipitators. The
coal's ash, at only 1.2%, has low propensity for
slagging and fouling. This combination makes envirocoal
the right choice for all boilers.
Very
Low Wear Index: The little ash found in
envirocoal is very low in silica and quartz. This
translates into a low wear index, which extends the life
of pulverizers and fuel piping - another cost saving
aspect of envirocoal .
Electro-static
precipitators?: No problem. Our customers have
burned several million tons of envirocoal in units
equipped with electro-static precipitators which have
easily collected envirocoal's fly ash. Combustion of
millions of tons of envirocoal in a variety of unit
designs have demonstrated that the ash is well collected
by all ash collection methods.
Very
Low Ash Disposal Costs: With an ash content of
only about 1.2%, envirocoal produces much less ash
during combustion than other coals. Using envirocoal
by itself or in blends can cut ash disposal costs by up
to 95%.
Low
Nitrogen: Companies concerned with NOx
emissions should know that envirocoal has a low
fuel-bound nitrogen content and produces low NOx output.
The low NOx emission level is significantly below that
of most bituminous coals. This can help companies meet
new NOx emission standards with lower capital
expenditures.
